"Ice Fishing Time"
Every day you hear about someone and their thoughts on the fishing that day. How often have you heard the sayings "Those walleyes were in such a negative mood today, I couldn’t believe it" My favorite is "I think I could have thrown a bowling pin down there and caught fish on it." Well both situations are true but last time I checked we can’t talk to the fish and find out what mood they are in.

Chris Wallace
My name is Chris Wallace, I am 19 years old and born and raised in Andover, Minnesota. Minnesota is home to some of the best multi species fishing not only in the Midwest but in the world. From the fantastic fishery of Lake of the Woods, to the end of where the glaciers made their marks on the southern portion of Mille Lacs, to the blood line of the United States, the mighty Mississippi and the smallest streams in southern Minnesota where trout call home. Minnesota is the place to be for crappies, walleyes, muskies, northerns, trout, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, jumbo perch, catfish and sunfish, we have it all.

Breaking down docks and finding out what makes one better over the other is what will help you cover more water, and catch more fish! This is going to be the first of a series of articles breaking down docks and what makes each dock different.

Rattling and Flashing
The jigging spoon is one of the most well known and most used lures in any ice angler’s box. The jigging spoons have been used from the wide, expansive flats of Lake Erie in search of ten plus pound walleyes, to the Canadian Shield in search of Lake trout to small lakes searching out aggressive panfish and perch.
