Kelvin Young of Reeltime Anglers Takes Win at Eufala.
The this was my club's (North Alabama Tournament Anglers) first tournament of the year. It was a 2-day event held on Lake Eufaula, Alabama 2/17-2/18. My partner and I won the event with a total weight of23.48 lbs. We were expecting to take second since the first day the leaders weighed in 22.16lbs. We were in 4th place with 9.62lbs going into day 2.

Oscar Jackson Wins BFL Gator Division 2/18/06
TAVARES, Fla. — Boater Oscar Jackson of Anthony, Fla., earned $4,981 Saturday as winner of the Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League Gator Division event on the Harris Chain of Lakes. The tournament was the second of five regular-season Gator Division events and featured 152 boaters vying for the win, which earned Jackson 200 points in the Boater Division.

Lake Ouachita in Hot Springs has been selected as host site for the 2007, $2 million Forrest Wood Cup
HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – FLW Outdoors and the Hot Springs Convention and Visitor’s Bureau announced Jan. 23 that Lake Ouachita in Hot Springs has been selected as host site for the 2007, $2 million Forrest Wood Cup presented by Castrol, the most lucrative championship in bass-fishing tournament history. The five-day tournament and outdoor show featuring hundreds of exhibits will be held July 24-28, 2007.

McMillan takes charge at Big O Stren Series 2006
In most multiday bass tournaments, the overall day-two catch normally falls off from the first day’s catch. But that was not the case in the Stren Series Southeast Division event on Lake Okeechobee. On Thursday, both pros and co-anglers caught even more fish and weight than what was accumulated at yesterday’s prolific weigh-in.
